Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the output characteristics of a diaphragm by reducing the concentrical waveform amplitude from the outer peripheral fixing end toward the center thereof.
CONSTITUTION: Concentrical waveforms 2 formed at metallic diaphragms 1 mounting an output displacement pickup unit 4 and a pressure input unit 5 at the centers of upper and lower diaphragms 1 are so formed that, as the radii thereof increase larger, the amplitudes thereof increase. When thus formed, it can provide large pressure and central output displacement. In other words, when employing the same diameter with the same pressure and displacement, maximum stress can be reduced. Accordingly, when it is used within allowable stress of the diaphragm material, the diaphragm diameter can be reduced, and the pressure and central output displacement can be increased, and the linearity between the pressure and the output displacement can be improved to as to thus improve the output characteristics of the diaphragm.
