Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a molded article having a metallic gloss surface by one step, by injecting a transparent resin into a mold and a resin blended with metallic powder into the same mold. CONSTITUTION:A transparent resin (e.g. polycarbonate resin, acrylic resin, and a transparent ABS resin) is injected into a mole, into which ABS resin blended with metallic powder (e.g. aluminum or copper powder) is injected to give a molded article having a metallic gloss surface. The article is available for production of optical products, e.g. light reflectors.
