Abstract

PURPOSE: To avoid deterioration of the heat radiation effect caused by the thermal deformation and thus to enhance the reliability by providing the regulating means to prevent the deformation of the cooling fin.
CONSTITUTION: Fin reinforcement material 2c is provided between duct 2a and radiator fin 2b. Material 2c is formed into an envelope shape in which the side surface protrudes over the side of magnetron tube bulb 1 at gap part 6 between a pair of fins which are connected each other on the inner circumference surface of duct 2a. This projection part extends along the outer surface of a paired fins, thus preventing each fin from being deformed toward the diameter due to the thermal expansion. At the same time, reinforcement ring 2d is attached across fin 2b and in the axial direction, and then the kerf is given to ring 2d to be inserted with each fin. Thus, the deformation can be regulated in the direction where the fins come close to each other. In such way, the deterioration of the fin's heat radiation effect due to the thermal deformation can be prevented, thus enhancing the reliability of the magnetron.
