Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve a smooth box distribution by providing, within a point of intersection of the transverse box transfer line and the passage leading to a scale and the like, a box attitude adjuster which presses boxes against the guideline for adjusting the attitude thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A box 2 supplied on a line 1 moves rightward as its position and attitude are being adjusted by guides 5.5. When it comes to a point of intersection 10, it is pushed into a passage 6 by a pusher 8. In this instance, as there is no guide 5 provided at the inlet 7 of the passage 6, the box 2 is likely to tilt and therefore be caught in the point of intersection. According to this distributor, however, a spiral roller is provided under the point of intersection which presses the box 2 against the guide 5 on the pusher 8 side with its upper surface which is in contact with the lower surface of the box 2. Accordingly, the box 2 can be pushed into the passage 6 positively and smoothly by the pusher 8.
