Abstract
PURPOSE: To manufacture a product having a high degree of dimensional accuracy, by forming a molding material layer on a socket which is fixed to a mandrel by a magnet attached to the inside of the mandrel.
CONSTITUTION: The ring magnet 2 is attached to the inner surface of the mandrel 1, which moves while rotating in the circumferential direction, at a given interval. The releasing material 7 is wrapped around the mandrel 1, and the socket mold 3 comprising the mold body 31 and thin iron sheet 32 is put on the mandrel 1, and fixed by the magnetic force of the magnet 2. The molding material 4' comprising glass rovings impregnated with a thermosetting resin liquid is wrapped around the mandrel 1 and the mold 3 to form the material layer 4, which is cured in the curing oven 5, and the mandrel 1 is removed. The material layer 4 is cut by the blade 6 at the socket mold 3 which is removed, thus forming a sockted reinforced plastic pipe.
