Abstract
PURPOSE: To make the fabrication of the detector easy and improve its accuracy by forming unit electrodes consisting of bias electrode plates, signal electrodes and insulators and assembling a plurality thereof to electrode supports made of metals.
CONSTITUTION: A signal electrode 6a is secured to a bias electrode 5a by way of insulators 11 and the bias electrode 5a has the extension parts extending from the insulators 11, thus forming a unit electrode together with the signal electrode 6a. A plurality of such unit electrodes are supported to electrode supports 9a made of metals as their extension parts 12 are fitted in the grooves 10 of said supports. A creeping length extension means by a groove 15 or tapered face 16 is provided to the insulation face 14 of each insulator 11 sandwiched by the bias electrode 5a and the signal electrode 6a. Such constitution facilitates the fabrication of the detector and eanbles its detection accuracy to be improved.
