Abstract
PURPOSE: To minimize the power production loss accompanined with sun light loss.
CONSTITUTION: The spray unit 2 is mounted on the solar cell panel 1. Since the solar cell tracking unit is mounted on the solar cell panel 1 normally, the spray unit 2 is not an obstacle to the solar cell panel 1. The spray unit 2 is constituted so that it can spray entirely over the solar cell panel 1 continously or intermittently, water as well as water solution of cleaning liquid or surface active agent which is effective to remove dust can be used for the spray unit 2. As the energy requred for spray, the tank is installed at higher position than the spray unit 2 and water is evaporated by using solar energy to store it in the tank. Since it is sufficient to spray for several minutes once depending on the degree of dirt of the solar cell panel 1 even if spray is made by using the power from the solar cell unit, the energy loss can be minimized.
