CONSTITUTION:Lifetime calculation circuit 3 makes time renewal by subtracting the operation time of each tool from the lifetime. When the renewal of time for each lifetime is completed, zero decision circuit 4 starts operation and decides whether or not the renewed lifetime has become zero. When it has become zero, a message containing the NC number and the time of the tool which has reached its lifetime, etc. is output to the output device via message output circuit 6. Otherwise, limit decision circuit 5 decides whether or not the tool lifetime has reached the allowable time limit. When it has reached the allowable time limit, alarm output circuit operates, and an alarm is output to NC device 1. In this way, processing precision is increased and effective li tool lifetime control is operated.
