Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain optimum cooking conditions by providing an upper and a lower heater in a casing, supplying power to one heater at the time of heating a control element and supplying power to the other heater at the time of cooling it, and thereby adjusting the power of the upper and lower heaters in accordance with the height of the object being cooked.
CONSTITUTION: First, when upper heater 1 and bimetal 3 are heated, power is supplied to heater 4; when bimetal 3 acquired a certain amount of deflection, switches 5 to 9 move from the position of the broken line to that of the solid line. As a result, power is supplied to lower heater 2, and at the same time, when the amount of deflection of bimetal 3 becomes small, the switches return to their initial position. In tis way, the switches repeat opening and closing, and at the same time, power is supplied to the upper heater when bimetal 3 is heated, and power is supplied to the lower heater when it is cooled. Thus, by adjusting bimetal 3, the power consumption of upper and lower heaters 1 and 2 are adjusted. In this way, for example, the optimum heating condition is obtained for baking a sponge cake.
