Abstract

PURPOSE: To establish the variable equalizer simple in circuit constitution and great in speed, by constituting the equalizer with the first plurality circuit having the same variable performance in cascade connection, coefficient circuit, second plurality circuit having frequency characteristics and addition circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The variable circuits 3-1,...3-n having the same variable characteristics and independently of frequency are connected at the input terminal 1. The coefficient addition circuits 4-1,...4-n which take the input and output signal of this circuit and add the coefficients a0...an are connected. The coefficient addition circuit consists of the impedance circuit depending on the resistance and frequency. Those outputs are inputted to the adders 5 and they are outputted from the output terminal 2 with addition. When the variable value of this circuit is taken x, the transfer function is expressed as equation (1), and it is operated without increase in error and causing oscillation to the signal in high speed. Further, since the circuits 3-1...3-n are constituted in the same circuit, design and manufacture are made easy and the cost can be reduced.
