Abstract
PURPOSE:To capture ever-magnetic particles and magnetic particles at high efficiency and also to enable a magnetic filter to be easily cleaned and rejuvinated by employing a laminated layer of a porous magnetic material and a porous non- magnetic material for the magnetic filter. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic thin lines A having diameter of 26-105mu are isolated at equal intervals of 39-430mu by non-magnetic thin lines 5B, and therefore, they can be free from magnetic shortcircuit and cause extremely large magnetic field gradient to surrounding area locally. As a result, larger force start working upon magnetic particles, and ever-magnetic particles of small diameter also become able to be adsorbed. And non-magnetic material 5B functions to reinforce adsorbing structure having rigidity against vibration. When adsorbing capacity of the filter's adsorbing structure 5 became deteriorated after having adsorbed many particles, an electromagnet 4 is switched off and flow from an outlet 3 is reversed so that adsorbed particles are cleaned away and thereby adsorbing capacity of the adsorbing structure 5 can be restored.
