Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically close any of two doors even if opened by engaging a wire in annular shape between pulleys arranged within a head jamb.
CONSTITUTION: When a right side door 4 is opened to the left side, a connector piece 18 will push a stationary portion 22 secured via a buffer spring 23 to a wire 3 to allow the wire 3 to move clockwise resulting in movement of a connecting fitting 16 to thereby extend a cable 24 while winding tightly a spiral spring unit 5. First and second connector pieces 12, 13 secured to the wire 3 are moved to the right to permit the second connector piece 13 to push a bushing 11 to thereby telescope a piston shaft 10 into a cylinder 7. The piston 8 is moved to the right by the hydraulic pressure. When a hand for opening the door 4 is released, the fitting 16 and wire 3 move oppositely by the force of the spring unit 5. Accordingly, even if any of the two doors is opened, it is automatically closed by the force accumulated at the spiral spring unit 5.
