Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurence of periodical oscillation at re-start of an elevator after the operation of the elevator has been suspended for a longer period and guide rollers the peripheral of which are provided with rubber or the like have been creeped by force of specific direction.
CONSTITUTION: A guide roller apparatus of a cage which travels along and is guided by a guide rail 5 laid along a lift path comprises a pair of guide rollers 101 and a pair of guide rollers 102 which are arranged to sandwitch the guide rail 5, the diameter of the guide roller 102 being slightly larger than the that of the guide roller 101. The guide rollers 101, 102 are beared by respective shafts 103 each with an eccentric axle, the shaft 103 is supported by a lever 104 rotatably engaged with a hinge 105 by a shaft 106, and the lever 104 is constructed such that it is resiliently energerized toward the guide rail 5 by a pushing spring 107 one end of which is beared against spring seat 18 fixed to a cage frame.
