Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a packing material with increased strength of sealing and higher air-tightness by painting specified heat-seal agent at heat-sealing portion of polypropylene film with improved quality so as to be capable of being printed.
CONSTITUTION: Well known polypropylene film, quality thereof is improved so as to be capable of being printed by printing ink including cellulose derivative as binder, is utilized. Heat-seal agent used for this process is polypropylene chloride, of which containing ratio of chloride is 5W50 weight %, or is co-polymerized or blended by polypropylene chloride and other components such as polymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate, high-class fatty acid amide or the like. This heat-seal agent is liquidous or melted agent and painted on the heat-sealing portion only. Printing ink including cellulose derivative as binder is used to be used for printing on cellophane, however, adaptability of polypropylene for printing with this kind of ink may be improved according to this method.
