Abstract
PURPOSE: To shave curled hairs lying along surface of skin effectively by forming an outer edge assembly of a shaver by thick, rigid edges and thin, soft edges adjacent each others.
CONSTITUTION: Circular mastache guide holes 7a are provided on a soft edge formed by a metal plate of 30-40 micron thickness and 1-2 mm long ellipse mastache guide holes 8a are provided on a rigid edge formed by a metal plate of 100- 130 micron thickness. These rigid edges 8 and soft edges 7 are formed so as to have semi-cylindrical configuration and are arranged at an opening portion of a main body in the condition that end portions of respective edges are adjacent each other, further, an inner edge 1 is slidably contacted with the inner surfaces of those outer edges. Consequently, normal shaving is effected by the rigid edges 8 while shearing of the curled hairs are effected by the soft edges 7, and thereby, shaving without remaining unshaved mastache may become possible.
