Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve cutting efficiency of beard in the portion other than the contact surface between the outer blade of the electric razor and the skin, particularly facilitating cutting of too long beard.
CONSTITUTION: The protrusions for guiding beard on blade holes 6a to 6c close to the center of the outer blade are gradually enlarged as to the radius of curvature in the proportion of R1<R2<R3<R4<R5 while the protrusions for guiding beard far from the center of the outer blade is lessened as to the radius of curvature in the proportion of R1>R6>R7>R8>R9 as the bent outer blade is separated from the center X-X at which the blade 5 contacts the skin. In other words, the protrusios for guiding beard become gentle gradually closer to the center of the outer blade and sharp farther therefrom. Long beard can enter the holes of the outer blade easilly even in the portion other than the contact section between the outer blade 5 and the skin so that the beard can be cut once in the portion. This can improve the guide efficiency of beard into holes of the outer blade on the contact surface between the outer blade and the skin. Thus, too long beard can be trimmed short quickly.
