Abstract

PURPOSE:To adjust the height of vehicle according to loading weights, and also to prevent a forward inclination of a vehicle body in the case of a rapid speed reduction or a backward inclination of the body in the event of a rapid acceleration. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle height detector A, which contracts and expands due to a loading weight and a running vibration, is located between a vehicle body and a wheel. The detector A is equipped with an inner cylinder 1 and an outer cylinder 11, and a vehicle height detecting valve 33, shose cross-section is U-shape, is slidably placed at a upper inner side of an outer shell 17 which is slidably fitted in an outer circumference of the outer cylinder 11. The detecting valve 33 is held in a position where tensions of two springs 6 and 7 are well-balanced, and holes 29 and 30 in the aforeasid position are disconnected. The holes 29 and 30 are connected by piping with a solenoid switching valve 38 which is changed over by means of a control circuit unit C incorporating switches 57 and 58 which turn on and off following the change in the vehicle height.
