Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a video signal without flickering not by providing a diffusion- signal eliminator circuit to a reception side, but by using the energy diffusion signal which varies periodically in amplitude synchronizing with the field frequency of a television signal.
CONSTITUTION: An energy diffusion signal is used which varies periodically in amplitude synchronizing with the field frequency of a television signal as shown in Fig. (b). As a result, since the waveform of each field is the same, a video signal causing no flickering can be obtained without providing a diffusion eliminator circuit to the reception side. Further, using a step wave with its step part in a horizontal scanning period causes no shading waveform distortion horizontally as shown in Fig. (b) even in case of the use of a diffusion signal eliminator circuit.
