Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent people from carbon monoxide gas poisoning by conducting open-and-close control of a gas valve on the basis of the theoretical product of a gas-sensor-trouble-detecting signal and signals detecting a thermocouple and a gas sensor. CONSTITUTION:An output of a gas sensor 17 is sent to comparators 14 through 16 which compare the output with a set value, and the output controls ON and OFF of transistors 30 through 32 via AND IC 25 through 27, and then the output also controls relays 28 of fans 33, an alarm 29, a safety valve 1 and an electromagnet 5. AND IC 27 is supplied with an output from a comparator 24 which compares outputs of comparators 15 and 16 with an output of a thermocouple 23, a high concentration signal from the comparator 15 indicating that concentration of carbon monoxide gas became 200 ppm or above, a signal from the comparator 16 indicating that the gas sensor is in trouble and a flame-put-out signal from the comparator 24. And a safety valve 1 is to be shut off by turning the transistor 32 ON by one of these signals.
