Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of quality of recorded information by eliminating multiple reflected light easily, bt deviating the direction or position of the light beam entering the optical system after the first photo deflector from the optical axis of the optical system. CONSTITUTION:An incident light beam is caused to enter a lens 21 by moving parallel to the optical axis thereof, vertically to the direction of deflection of a first photo deflector 3, and one-dimensionally deflected light beam 10 passes through the first relay lens 21, causing multiple reflected light. The majority of this light is removed as being shielded by a first mask 22. The majority of the multiple reflected light generated at a second relay lens 23 is removed as being shielded by a second mask 24. As a result, only the approximate main beam 12 passes through a second photo deflector 5 and an imaging lens 24 to reach a recording medium 7. Thus, eliminating the multiple reflected light, deterioration of quality of recorded information may be prevented.
