Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of transmission cables and to avoid the variation in the phase difference between the video signal and the color signal, by transmitting the video signal, synchronizing signal and the color signal after synthesizing into one signal.
CONSTITUTION: The video signal VDS inputted to the video bus VDB is converted into the serial signal b with the video signal generation shift register 11, the color signal CLR is converted into the serial signal c with the color serial signal generation shift register 12, and the signal b and c are transmitted from the transmission section A to the reception section B after being synthesized with the signal synthesis amplifying circuit 13. This is outputted as the signal e with the reception amplfying circuit 14 and converted into TTL level at the TTL level conversion amplifiers 15a to 15d. The signals f, g, h are logically synthesized at the reproduction circuit 16 of color serial signal and are reproduced as the color serial signal j. The signal j is converted into parallel signal at the serial parallel conversion circuit 17 and is outputted to the matrix circuit 19 of the color monitor together with the video signal g, and the synchronizing signal i.
