Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition having excellent heat distortion resistance and weatherability, composed of a vinyl chloride resin, a graft polymer of an acrylic ester polymer with an aromatic vinyl compound and a vinyl cyanide compound, and magnesium silicate.
CONSTITUTION: A composition composed of (A) a vinyl chloride resin, (B) a polymer obtained by grafting an aromatic vinyl compound and a vinyl cyanide compound to an acrylic acid ester polymer, (C) magnesium silicate, and if necessary, (D) antimony trioxide. The weight ratio of (A)/(B) is pref. 20/80W70/30, and the amount of the magnesium silicate is 1W10 wt.% of the sum of the (A) and (B) components.
