Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve a disposal capacity and to enable a shortening of a disposal time, by disposing organic waste water as a result of using as a flow bed carrier the plastic resin grain adhering a powder catalyst.
CONSTITUTION: A proper amount of grained oxidizing catalyst 4, which adheres 4 periods of the elements, such as manganese, iron etc., at surface of light plastic resin grain having a specific gravity of nearly 10, is filled in a processing bath 1. When organic waste water is introduced at a constant speed through an inlet of the bottom of the processing bath 1, the catalyst becomes a good flow bed due to a light floating quality of the grained oxidizing catalyst 4. Further, waste water repeatedly whirls round in a contact with the grained catalyst 4 as a result of oxygen supply and due to an air soft effect. A that time a biological film is produced on a surface of the grained catalyst 4. As a result of a synergism of biological oxidation action performed due to the catalyst, organism in waste water is oxidized and disolved, and waste water is purified.
