Abstract

PURPOSE: To construct a ventilation means of a heating chamber which operates when microwave heating is in operation, separately from the cooling air passage of a microwave generation source and thereby to close the air passage when the ventilation means is stopped, in a device using microwave heating and steam heating in combination.
CONSTITUTION: Heating chamber 5 is supplied with microwave from magnetron oscillator 6 and steam from steam pipe 14. When the magnetron oscillator is in operation, blower motor 22 operates and magnetron 6 is cooled. Also, ventilating fan 25 operates in coordination with blower motor 22 and vapor in the heating chamber is discharged from exit 41. Shutter 40 is opened and closed by fan 25. It is closed when steam heating is operated since fan 25 does not operate, and thereby the diffusion of steam outside is prevented.
