Abstract

PURPOSE:The humidity in a dryer system is kept in a specific range by detecting the humidity in the system and controlling the amount of an air lowered in humidity depending to the values detected, whereby the water content of a resin for molding is kept constant, thus decreasing the fluctuation in quality of molded products. CONSTITUTION:The material of thermoplastic resin for molding is continuously fed from A into dryer C and taken out of B wherein the drying air is circulated by blower D between C and D in the arrow direction. The terminal E for detecting the humidity of the drying air is set in the system and the humidity detected is input to controller F where the signal is converted to the signal for deciding the degree of the opening of control valve G for introducing the air lowered in humidity and then output. The output signal changes the opening degree of control valve G and keeps the humidity of the atmosphere in the dryer in a specific range. Further, the amount of the exhaust gas through system H is controlled by control damper J in accordance with the amount of the humidity-lowered air that is introduced in the dryer system.
