Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish immediate detection of imbalance in current of the feed circuit by checking current of the tertiary winding of the transformer with the primary and secondary windings opposite in polarity thereof connected to the end of a paralled feed circuit having a switching element in series.
CONSTITUTION: One end of the primary and secondary windings 9 and 10 connected opposite in polarity of a transformer with the tertiary winding (CT) 13 is connected to resistance 3 and 4 of a switching circuit having transistors (TR) 1 and 2 connected thereto in parallel. The iron core of CT 13, for instance, employing a ring core, is wound with the tertiary winding to form an output terminal 11 while primary and secondary windings 9 and 10 equal in the number of turn are inserted in the opposite direction through the hole of the core and connected to the power connection wire as shown in the drawing. With such an arrangement, when either of TR1 or TR2 fails, one of fuses 5 and 6 is shut off thereby developing the open state, which changes the ampere pattern of the primary and secondary windings 9 and 10. The output voltage thus yielded in the tertiary windings enables immediate detection of imbalance in the current of the switching circuit.
