Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to detect clogging of a chute in a conveyor line by signals from detectors as early as possible by providing the belt conveyors with the detector detecting goods being transferred at the upper and lower stream side of the chute respectively.
CONSTITUTION: An upper stream side belt-conveyor 1 and an lower stream side belt-conveyor 2 are provided with a transferred goods detector A, B respectively at a distance from a chute 3. In case the upper stream side detector A is in the condition of ON (that means existence of transferred goods on the belt-conveyor 1) and the lower stream side detector B is OFF (that means existence of transferred goods on the belt-conveyor 2), it means that the chute 3 is not clogged and the goods are being transferred smoothly, however, in case the detector A is in the condition of ON and the condition of the detector B is changed from OFF to ON, a stop signal transmitter R for the upper stream side belt-conveyor 1 is operated, consequently, clogging of the chute 3 may be confirmed.
