Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture the title film or sheet having excellent gas barrier characteristics and heat-sealability, by applying a polar group-containing modified polyolefin layer, and a specific polymer blend layer successively to the surface of a substrate composed of an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer saponificate.
CONSTITUTION: A film or sheet composed of (A) a substrate layer consisting of an ethylene/vinyl acetate saponificate having an ethylene content of 20W60 mol% and a degree of saponification of ≥90 mol% (pref. having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.09W0.14 1/g in a mixed solution in water/phenol, at 30°C), (B) a modified polyolefin layer having a polar group such as an unsaturated carboxylic acid, etc., (pref. an olefin content of 95W70 wt%), applied to the surface of the (A) layer, and (C) a polymer blend layer consisting of (a) 20W85 wt% of ethylene/propylene copolymer and (b) 80W15 wt% of a copolymer of butene and a monomer having an ethylenic unsaturated bond (excluding butene) applied to the surface of the (B) layer.
