Abstract

PURPOSE: To display transient characteristics of acoustical transmission systems from the integrated values of the entire part and make possible measurement of real time by setting multiple integration sections to impulse response and shitfing the integration start points respectively by fixed intervals.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of measuring the transient characteristics of a transmission system by analyzing impulse response r(x), the analyzed impulse response r(x) is squared 14 and the squared output is compared with respectively specific reference levels in comparators 16, 17. The respective compared outputs are introduced into a timing control unit 18 which in turn makes timing controlling so that the integration start times vary at a fixed integration section. According to these timings, specified integration is performed with the squared outputs in respective integrators 21-1 thru n and the respective integrated outputs are subsequently supplied to a display device 27, thus the transient characteristics of the transmission system are displayed and recorded in real time.
