Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for raising and lowering work handling carrier bed, in which a retractable, subsidiary carrier bed movable with raising and lowering of the main carrier bed is provided by the side of main carrier bed, whereby it is enabled to improve efficiency of work handling operation and to ensure safety of the operation.
CONSTITUTION: When cylinder 11 is retracted, carrier bed 2 is raised upward by pantagraph type linkage 12, and at the same time, support rod 9 of subsidiary carrier bed 3 pivotally supported on bracket 5 of carrier bed 2 is drawn toward the carrier bed 2. When stopper 8 of control rod 7 connected to the support rod 9 comes into abutment with bracket 6 of base frame 1, support rod 9 is turned pivotally with respect to bracket 5 of carrier bed 2. Here, arragement is such that when carrier bed 2 comes to its upper limit position, subsidiary carrier bed 3 is located in level with the carrier bed 2. On the other hand, when cylinder 11 is expanded, carrier bed 2 is lowered and at the same time subsidiary carrier bed 3 is folded down by the side of base frame 1.
