Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a pipe wherein the pipe wall is formed by a molding material comprising a mixture of a binding agent and a packing material, and the material cost being cut down while increasing the bending strength.
CONSTITUTION: A strippable film 7 is spirally wound over the outer periphry of a mandrel, while moving with rotation the mandrel 1 comprising a spirally wound steel belt in the axial core direction thereof. Then, a belt reinforcement 8' such as glass robing immersed, if required, with a thermosetting resin solution is spirally wound over the strippable film 7 so as to form an inside-reinforced layer 8. Next, molding materials S1', S2' of different compositions are simultaneously dropped on the reinforced layer 8, being supported by a cover cloth 9, and being pressed to the mandrel 1 side by means of a press unit 2 to form an intermediate layer 10. Furthermore, a belt reinforcing layer 11 is formed in a manner similar to the above. Then, the resulting composition is passed through a curing furnace 6 for making the layers in a body, and a desired pipe A being prepared.
