Abstract
PURPOSE: To obviate great numbers of switch valves as in the case of the conventional methods, increase the amount of fluid to be treated, cut down the cost of installation, and stabilize the product quality by suitably circulating an adsorbent in adsorber, desorber, and regulator in the purification of fluids with an adsorbent.
CONSTITUTION: The air A, a raw material, is sent through the blower 24 to the adsorber 11 packed with zeolite, where easily adsorbable substances, moisture, N2, etc., are removed, and then passed through the filter 14 to obtain the product B (dried oxygen-rich air). A part of adsorption liquor is sent with air to the desorber 13 by means of the ejector 21, warmed up by the air C for regeneration heated by the heater 30 to desorb and regenerate adsorbed substances, sent to the regulator 12 by the ejector 23, cooled by the circulating air cooled by the cooler 17, and then sent back through the feeder 19 to the adsorber 11 in a fixed amount for the repetition of adsorption operation. The apparatus is applicable even for the collection of easily adsorbable substances. Thus, this method obviates the needs for switch valves as used in the conventional methods, can treat greater amounts of fluids, can cut down the cost of installation, and stabilize the product quality by the addition of regulating process.
