Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform a high-efficiency data transfer by providing a transmission request bit and a use permission bit in the time slot on a bus in the bus-system communication system where communications between multi-drops are performed.
CONSTITUTION: This system is constituted by bus control part BC of a master station, device controller DCE connected to each multi-drop point, down transmission bus 1, and up receiving bus 2. When having transmission data, each DCE sets the bit, which corresponds to the DCE itself, of frame request information REQ to "1" and transmits data to bus 1, and this information is folded at the position of DEC 15 and reaches BC through bus 2. BC selects one of bits which are set to "1". The frame indicated in the figure is transferred repeatedly at regular intervals; and after performing the selective acceptance procesing of received REQ, BC sets only a bit, which is selected as frame use permission bit ACP and corresponds to the DCE, to "1" and outputs permission information to bus 1. DCE detects that the bit corresponding to the DCE itself is set to "1", and transmits next data.
