Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a color picture recording device which generates no color slippage, by providing a cylinder drum which mounts a recording medium, a recording head, and means for rotation angle detection, recording density designation, timing signal generation, digital storage, digital delay, etc.

CONSTITUTION: Color signals from color signal source 16 are inputted point by point according to timing signals, and color signals A, B and C are distributed to drive circuit 22, digital delay circuit 20 and digital delay circuit 21 respectively by signal distribution part 17. Color signals B and C inputted to circuits 20 and 21 are inputted to drive circuits 23 and 24 later than signal A by a prescribed amount of delay according to recording density designation by control units 18 and 19. Units 18 and 19 are controlled with the recording density, which is designated by rotation angle detector 13 and recording density designation part 14, by signal generation part 15 which generates a timing signal at every prescribed rotation angle. Signals from circuits 22 to 24 are supplied to recording heads 25 to 27 with the time difference according to head intrevals and are recorded on recording paper 12. Each color signal is recorded at the same position on the recording paper, so that no color slippage may be generated.
