Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve operational efficiency of heat exchanger production by piling one-channel heat exchanger units in a lateral direction on a support beam arranged in a box-shaped casing in a zigzag arrangement.
CONSTITUTION: On a support beam 4 set inside a box-shaped casing with a proper pitch are piled one-channel heat exchanger units, which are composed of heat- exchanger pipes 5 with fins and U-bend 7, and heat-exchange pipe supporting plates 1 alternately in a lateral direction, thus producing a heat exchanger. The supporting plate 1 for heat-exchange pipes is formed in a wave shape to give a zigzag arrangement.
