Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioning system in use of fluidic control, which is designed such that both of its heating and cooling modes can be selected mechanically when some trouble is caused with the system, whereby it is enabled to achieve necessary minimal control of the system under such circumstances. CONSTITUTION:Actuators 14, 15, 16 for air mixing door 5, inside and outside switching door 7 and air diffusing port switching door 10 are controlled by transducers 24, 25, 26 on the output of controller 27 which is dependent on the level of the temperature in the cabin of vehicle, atmospheric temperature and intensity of sun light. In the above arrangement, when changeover valves 32 disposed between respective transducers and actuators are turned to emergency range B', actuators 14, 15, 16 are connected respectively to vacuum source 23, so that vacuum is applied to actuators 14 to 16 via by-pass conduits 19a to 21a. This causes the above doors 5, 7, 10 to move to the positions shown by two-dot chain lines, opening the inlet port for introducing open air and hot wind diffusing port 12 while closing all of the by-pass conduits, whereby the system is switched into its heater mode.
