Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure a highly efficient memorization for the general-purpose picture by distributing the information of the picture signal and with every field at each memory area of the memory unit in correspondence with the position on the screen.

CONSTITUTION: The input picture signal given from input terminal 1 is supplied to A/D converter 4 as well as to clock generating part 7. The clock signal is then applied to converter 4 to digitize the input picture signal. At the same time, the clock signal is sent to write/read control part 8 in the form of the outside-office clock signal along with the intra-office clock signal sent from input terminal 2 and the special effect control given from input terminal 3 to form the control signal for memory unit 6. With this control signal, the control is given for writing and reading of the picture signal at unit 6. Thus, the information of the picture signal with every field are distributed alternately at each memory area of the memory unit in accordance with the position on the screen, ensuring a highly efficient memorization for the picture signal of moltiple purposes.
