Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce shearing stress acting on a cable band while greatly improving sliding proof-stress, by mounting a dash-board between a pair of partition bands, and by connecting a suspension bridge cable and a hanger cable.
CONSTITUTION: A main cable 1 is produced by bundling a number of cable strand ropes or strands while tension acting on a hanger cable 2 is transmitted to the main cable 1 by using a cable band 3 for winding connecting the hanger cable 2 for supproting a bridge floor, and the bridge floor is suspension supported. The cable band 3 is divided into a pair of partition band portion materials 4, 5, a dash-board 6 is arranged between the band portion materials 4, 5 and the main cable 1 constituting a suspension bridge cable is partition arranged to both sides of the dash-board 6. When mutually tightening fastening edges 4a, 5a, 4b, 5b, abrasion resistance between the main cable 1 and the cable band 3 becomes large.
