Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of electric field at the sharp point of a conductor provided between insulator members, by fitting the conductor in recesses of deformed conductors provided at both side edges of the conductor.
CONSTITUTION: A metal leaf 2b is sandwiched between the insulators 2a such as press boards. The deformed conductors 2d such as copper and having the recesses are provided at both the side edges of the metal leaf 2b. Insulator papers 2e are wound around the deformed conductors 2d and notched at the recesses of the conductors 2d. The metal leaf 2b is fitted in the notches of the insulator papers 2e. Thus, the sharp edges of the metal leaf 2b are placed in the recesses of the deformed conductors 2d and covered with the conductors 2d having the same potential as the leaf. Therefore, no electric field is generated at the sharp edges of the metal leaf 2b.
