Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable accurate and prompt adjustment of the diameter of the primary optical signal beam to radiate the recording medium or the dot line interval (beam interval) depending on the desired printing quality.
CONSTITUTION: By corresponding carriers f1... having different frequencies one another with n-pieces of picture image signals S1... one by one, the picture image signal Si is modulated by AM modulator AM1 through the carrier fi to form n- pieces of modulated signals Sf1..., which are then mixed in a mixer 13 and are applied to an acousto-optical element 4 through AMP, thereby emitting n-pieces of primary optical beams L.
