Abstract

PURPOSE: For effectively utilizing waste heat energy, to make compulsory circulation of working fluid in heat pipe of which the upper and lower portions are used for heating and cooling respectively.
CONSTITUTION: High-temeperature waste gas flows through the inlet 5 of a high- pressure heating portion 1 in arrow A direction and is discharged through an outlet 6 after heat is given thereto at a high-pressure heating portion 9 and a low-pressure heating portion 10. The fluid to be heated flows in through an inlet 7 in arrow B direction and is discharged through a cooling outflow port 8 while the temperature thereof is raised by the sensible heat obtained through the condensation of the working fluid having vapourized at a low-pressure heating portion 10 and further in the similar manner at a high-pressure cooling portion 12. The working fluid condensed in low-pressure range is fed from a low-pressure outlet header 15 to a reservoir 21 through a high-pressure inlet header 13 and a high-pressure outlet header 16 by a pump 18, stored in said reservoir 21, reduced in pressure in accordance with load change by a flush valve 17, fed to a low-pressure inlet header 14, evaporated at a low-pressure heating portion, and compulsorily circulated.
