Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise the cooling efficiency in cooling process by the procedure in which insulated cable formed at extrusion process is introduced into a refrigerator for boiling cooling.
CONSTITUTION: The insulated cable 4 formed at the extrusion process A is introduced into a refrigerator 7 for boiling cooling, e.g., flon, fluorine oil, trifluoroethylalcohol, etc.. For example, the cable core 1 is sent through the turn sheave 2 to the extrusion process A, and then the outside circumference of the core is coated with an unbridged rubber or plastic insulating material containing a cross-linking agent by means of the extruder cross head 3 and then passed through the bridging cylinder 5 for bridging reaction by heating. Then, it is passed through a gas-liquid double phase type refregirator 7 of flon, etc., for boiling cooling and cooled to room temperature. The insulated cable 4 is preferably introduced into liquid phase through the gas phase of the aforesaid refregirator 7.
