Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to always effect the correct positioning of array irrespective of its size by forming holes perpendicular to the optical axis and the longitudinal direction of the array in the vicinity of the both ends of the output frame of the array and by fitting the pins, which are provided at the body side of a copier, in the holes.
CONSTITUTION: The reflected light from an original 8 upon its carriage 7 is guided through an array 4 of elements having a small focal point and a length z taken in the direction of the optical axis so that the image of the original 8 is formed on a photosensitive element 10 which is apart therefrom a distance T. Positioning holes 9' are formed to have a length a and at such positions as apart from the emanating end of the array 9 a distance z/2 + a in the direction of the optical axis. Pins 12 are provided at positions apart a distance T/2 + a from the surface of the element 10. By fitting the pins 12 in the holes 9', the distances l0 and l1 relating to the arrays 4 at the original side and the photosensitive element side can be made conjugate with a focused image of the same size.
