Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify process and permit continuous operation of machine while improving productivity and quality of product by providing grooved rolls formed on the outer cylindrical periphery with grooves which correspond to a desired shape having different conductor pitches when the roll is developed.
CONSTITUTION: A conductor 1 is sequentially passed through grooved guide rolls 4AW4C to approach step by step a predetermined pitch. On the other hand, an insulating tape 2a is fed to a heating rubber roll 7A by a feeder 6A and located accurately on the predetermined pitch by the grooves formed on the outer periphery of a final grooved roll 5. Consequently different conductor pitches will be obtained. The insulating tape 2a and a conductor 1 pass between a roll 7a and the grooved roll 5 opposed thereto so that the conductor 1 is contiuously heat pressed and adhere to the one side of the tape 2a to form a series of predetermined chain-like conductor patterns on the tape 2a. Thus the rate of operation and quality of products can be improved.
