Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the restriction in the use of the self timer by adding a stopper member which is capable of restraining a transmission member.
CONSTITUTION: A stopper member 20 is pivotally fitted by a pin 22 to the inside face side of the plate body 21 mounted on the shaft of a focusing gear 8 and its one end 20a is normally engaged and disengaged to and from a protrusion 23 by energizing of a spring to control the rotation of the gear 8. In addition, the other end is made engageable to the other end 13b of a second lever 13. Then, at the time of ordinary auto focus photographing, the stopper member 20 is turned by the second lever 13 at the lowering of a shutter release 16 and is then disengaged from the protrusion 23, whereby the auto focus photographing takes place. At the time when a self timer is used, the disengagement timing of the stopper member 20 is delayed by the self-cam 19 provided to the shaft system 18 for self-timer mechanism to prolong the photographing time, and further at the necessary time, the gear 8 is turned in the reset direction by way of a reset gear 24 through manual turning of a reset knob 27, by which the lens system is reset to the initial position.
