Abstract
PURPOSE: To make manual distance setting mechanism easy by providing a lens stopping means which stops a photographic lens in a focusing position, a detention member which determines the position of the lens stopping means via an electromagnet controlled by an automatic focus detecting circuit, and a switch which selects the two predetermined positions of the detention member.
CONSTITUTION: When a shutter release button is pushed, a focus setting member 4 moves leftward together with a release plate 1, and a magnet Mg is opened by an automatic focus detecting circuit 23, causing the member 4 to stop in the focusing position. When the release button is pushed further, the release plate 1 abuts on the member 1; at the same time, a rotation stopper 10 is released and the step part 8b of a rotating plate 8 abuts on the right end 4d of the member 4, thereby extending the photographing lens up to the focusing position to stop the same in that position. In the case of manual setting, a select switch SW1 is changed over to ∝ terminal when a pointer 4e comes to the predetermined position of a scale S. To focus at a near distance or infinity manually, the switch SW1 is short-circuited to 1m or ∝. Thereby, the manual distance setting mechanism is made simple.
