Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the fixing process of a stay by providing moving bodies into the divided part of the stay divided above the intersecting point of a brace with the stay for fixing these divided stays temporarily, and devising to slide the upper stay kept fixed on a sphere shell to the side on the lower stay for annealing. CONSTITUTION:A stay 4' is separated above the intersecting point of the upper part of a brace 3 with a stay 4. Moving bodies 13 and 13' are provided between a stay plate 7' and a receiving plate 9' at the bottom of the stay 4', and divided stays are temporarily fixed by means of brackets 14 and 14' and a holding plate 14'' for completing the supporting work of a spherical tank 1' for a time. For annealing, each brace 3 is kept tense, and brackets and the holding palte are released to make the plate 7' and the receiving plate 9' movable. Then, when the sphere shell 2 is annealed, it is expanded and displaced outward. After annealing, the stay 4' is retreated and backed to the initial position along with the contraction of the sphere shell 2. Brackets, the holding plate, and the receiving plate are welded and fixed as moving bodies 13 and 13' being contained inside, and brackets 14 and 14' are properly cut off for completing the work.
