Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a simple liq.-feeding apparatus which requires no mechanical apparatus, and is constituted of an outer tank, which is equipped with an electromagnet at inside bottom, and of an inner tank, whidh contains liq. to be fed, in the outer tank and is equipped with a permanent magnet placed at outside bottom opposite to the above-described electromagnet in order to lift the inner tank by magnetic force.
CONSTITUTION: When this apparatus is applied to an ink-soln.-feeding apparatus of a transfer printer utilizing ink-spray, electric current is flowed, in transfer printing of the transfer printer, so as to give the electromagnet 5 the same polarity as that of the permanent magnet 4, hence repulsive force is exerted on both the magnets 4 and 5. When the inner tank 2 is filled with ink, the tank 2 lowers, and with the consumption of ink, the inner tank 2 becomes lighter and rises by the repulsive force between the magnets 4 and 5, as a result, the head difference H between the level in the inner tank 2 and transfer-printing head 8 is kept nearly constant. The head 8 is generally kept higher than the level in the inner tank 2, the head difference H being set usually about 0W20mm. When this apparatus is applied to a plane scanning tupe transfer printer, liq. at a const. press. is fed independently of the back and forth motion of the apparatus.
