Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a smooth operation, capable for a long period, of slightly rocking motion in the moving part, by means of applying a surface treatment layer of pressing resistance on at least one of the faces, a bearing constitutional end and an inner race flange that makes a contact with the former.
CONSTITUTION: A pressing resistant treatment layer 10 is formed on a flange face 7a of the inner race 7 that makes a contact against with an end face 8a of the roller 8. A provision of said pressing resistant treatment layer 10, under a condition with a thrust force of heavy load being applied, for instance, even for a slightly rocking motion repeatedly generated in the moving part like rotor blades, causes a thrust roller bearing 5 never to generate a pressing wear in the contact face between its flange face 7a and roller end face 8a. Accordingly, throughout a long period, a friction torque of the thrust roller bearing can be held at low level.
