Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic frequency following type band pass filter by securing a coincidence between the central frequency and the higher-energy frequency among the input frequencies. CONSTITUTION:The signals sent from input terminal 6 are amplified through amplifier 7 and the led to variable frequency band pass filter (VBPF) 8 and 9. The central frequency at the fixed control voltage V is set up previously for VBPF 8 and 9 to constitute the band pass filters featuring such characterisitcs that the phase is inverted centering on the passinb central frequencies fc8 and fc9. The output difference between VBPF8 and 9 is amplified through differential amplifier 12 to be drawn out in the form of the output. In the other hand, the output of 8 and 9 are applied to differential amplifier 13 via envelope curve detector 10 and 11. Then the output of amplifier 13 is smpplied to up-down counter 17 to control the operation of the corresponding counter. Thus, V can be varied to satisfy fin=fc.
